Bridgerton Season 4 First Look
–Lady Bridgert
Finally, we have a main East Asian character in Netflix's *Bridgerton*! It took four seasons to reach this point, but at least the show is making an effort. I find *Bridgerton* entertaining, but it has been somewhat frustrating to see East Asians with limited or non-speaking roles despite the diverse cast. The reality is that the period in which *Bridgerton* is set predominantly consisted of white English people—England during 1795 to 1837, primarily among the upper class. So far, the best season has been Season 2, which had a lot of tension and felt as if Jane Austen co-wrote the script. I hope that Season 4 will be even better. Check it out if you haven't seen the show.
