Hot weather needs cool, refreshing drinks. Here are three easy recipes that can be made as cocktails or mocktails, so you don't need to come up with separate drink menus.
Strawberry Vodka Limeade
2 oz limeade
2 oz vodka
2 large strawberries
Club soda
Ice
Lime slice for garnish
Muddle the berries in the bottom of a glass. Add limeade, vodka and ice. Top off with club soda and stir. Garnish with a lime slice.
Mocktail version: Replace the 2 oz of vodka with 2 oz of limeade
Sunrise
in Oaxaca
2 oz Dos
Hombres Mezcal
4oz. fresh orange juice
Ice
2 tbsp grenadine
Orange slice for garnish
Add Dos Hombres and orange juice with ice into a blender. Blend until smooth. Pour into Collins glass. Slowly pour in grenadine. Garnish
Mocktail version: Replace the 2 oz of mezcal with 2 oz of orange juice
2 oz. rum
8 oz. Adagio Mango Iced Tea
Simple syrup
Mango cubes
Ice
Mix tea, rum and simple syrup to taste. Pour over ice and add mango cubes. You can also use frozen mango in place of ice.
